YouTube Feed Control does not collect, transmit, or store any data about you on any external server. Everything stays on your device.
No account required. No tracking. No analytics. No ads. No data ever leaves your browser.
Your settings (blocked channels, keywords, toggle states) are stored using chrome.storage.sync — a Chrome-managed API that syncs across your own signed-in Chrome devices. This data never touches our servers because we have no servers.
Usage stats (videos hidden, time saved estimates) and your activity log are stored using chrome.storage.local — only on the device you're using. This data never leaves your device under any circumstance.
storage — to save your rules and stats locally.
scripting & webNavigation — to apply your rules on YouTube pages and handle Focus Guard redirects.
tabs — to open the welcome page on first install.
The extension only operates on https://www.youtube.com/*. It has no access to any other website.
None. The extension makes no network requests of its own. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no ad networks, and no external APIs.
If anything here changes, the updated policy will be linked from the extension's Chrome Web Store listing. The date at the top of this page will reflect the last change.
